Crawled In – Walked Out

June 21st, 2010 | Posted in blog home, home page

The bartender of a high-end tavern next to my chiropractic clinic was talking to a small crowd of people gathered on the sidewalk.  I walked past them on my way home and he called out saying, “you are an amazing person.”  He then told everyone how he had just seen a man “crawl on his belly” into my office and “walk out soon after.”  As a chiropractor, I see miracles like this every day, but he was astounded.  He kept repeating, “He crawled in with excruciating pain and walked out!”

All eyes were on me for a moment and people leaned forward expecting me to take credit for what had happened.  I paused and said; “it’s really nothing.”  He said “nothing?” And I said “yes, don’t you offer the same service as a bartender?” He asked “How?”  I quipped, “In your profession, you offer the same service only in reverse. They walk in and crawl out.”
